Forecasters are predicting that Tropical Storm Fay has the ability to turn into a Category 1 hurricane after it moves through Cuba this weekend. If this happens, South Florida, especially the Florida Keys are in danger of being hit with a hurricane early next week. Other projected tracks have Fay coming up Florida's West coast. Whatever the possibilities for Tropical Storm Fay, it is strongly suggested that we start to prepare for a hurricane - or at least be ready for heavy winds and rain.

A corded phone. These phones do not require any electricity so when the power is out and cell phones are only picking up emergency signals, this is the only way to stay in touch with others.
