Dare To Go Bare!

Wednesday July 1, 2009
The American Association for Nude Recreation, located in Kissimmee Fl, has designated July 6 - 11, 2009 as Nude Recreation Week. This is your opportunity to bare it all - whether at a clothing-optional resort, local nude beach, area camp ground or in the privacy of your own home.

Back in April of 2008, The New York Times reported that the trend towards vacationing at clothing-optional resorts is on the rise for people of all ages and income levels. More and more high-end luxury resorts are being built to cater to this nudist lifestyle. Right here in Central Florida, about an hour's drive from the attractions is the relatively new Caliente Resort with beautiful pools, deluxe rental accommodations and million dollar homes.

Year-round sunshine, lots of attractions and beautiful beaches have contributed to the number of clothing-optional resorts that can be found in the Central Florida area. See what others have to say about baring it all. Poll results indicate that many are curious about visiting a nudist resort and those who have tried it - loved it.

Oh my…this is definitely an interesting event! I have a feeling those with a fear of nudity will stay far, far away. That’s really cool, though, I grew up in the area and had no idea this existed. Guess you learn something new every day!

Remember the Seinfeld episode of ‘Good Naked, Bad Naked?’ I think any actual phobias would have to do with the concept of Bad Naked since most people seem to be ok with the idea of Good Naked.

Once you try it you’ll never want to wear a swimsuit again. My wife is fond of saying “it’s a jacuzzi, not a clothes washer”.

Happy Nude Recreation Week to all!!

To me, being nude is being the same person but in a sensually charged ambience that is very pleasurable. Indeed I prefer being with my family and other sociable mixed gender naturists in clubs and resorts for all of our recreation or relaxation. My personal best was three weeks vacation at a resort in France, with everything except sandals put away for the entire duration. The strangeness of shirt and shorts to depart there was almost as strange as becoming a naturist many years before. As regards sex-life; being nude together promotes an appreciation of the pleasure that can be given one to another.
At your first naturist experience, you may feel apprehensive and worried that people will be staring at you. But a visit to gaynudistmeet.com is much different than you would experience anywhere else. At there, you will not find people trying to undress you with their eyes, from afar or near, because there is nothing left for the imagination to remove. You will not find people throwing outdated, lewd or offensive pickup lines at you.

There is a difference in nudism or naturalism and pornography. Nudism believes in the freedom from the restrictions of clothing, Porn is for sexual gratification. Naturist looks like you and I and come from all walks of life. You will find it to be a relaxing lifestyle that is free of the daily stress we all experience. Naturist groups like gaynudistmeet.com are looking for people who are open minded and want to enjoy the company of others of a like mind.

TripAdvisor.com just came out with their top 10 clothing optional resorts in the world list. Who did they pick in the US? Not the big resorts in Flrodia.

They picked the smaller, boutique clothing optional resorts in sunny Palm Springs, CA proving once more that bigger does not mean better.

TripAdvisor.com felt only 2 American nudist resorts deserved to be awarded this honor.

They picked the popular, historic Terra Cotta Inn Clothing Optional Resort and Spa located in the beautiful resort community of Palm Springs, CA http://sunnyfun.com and Living Waters Spa in Desert Hot Springs http://livingwatersspa.com

Part of the popularity is Palm Springs is it is the sunniest city in The US averaging less then 3 inches of rain a year. There is no better city in the US for nude recreation than Palm Springs and trip advisor.com proves it. To learn more about Palm Springs visit http://palmsprings.com

Wow Therse, that sounds fantastic! How much does a nudist resort cost to stay at?

Adam from Longwood, you would need to contact the resort or campground for prices, they did not provide me with that information in the press release.
