A full listing of Independence Day celebrations are taking place in the Orlando area this year.

All major theme parks will be having special fireworks displays in addition to their regular evening events. Local city celebrations are an inexpensive way to spend the day with younger children. Area museums and parks will be offering special events throughout the day including free admission to the Morse Museum of American Art.
How about a more low-key, family oriented way to spend the day?
- Have a picnic at Turkey Lake Park.
- Head over to the beach with the family.
- Take a canoe adventure at Wekiwa Springs State Park.
Want a double dose of fireworks? Get an early start at Cranes Roost Park's Red Hot & Boom - a popular pre-Independence Day fireworks extravaganza on July 3rd . This year's event starts at 4:00 with fireworks around 9:30.
For a family fun day, this year Disney' Swan and Dolphin will be hosting a Family-Style Stars & Stripes Celebration on July 2, 2011.
