Warm year round temperatures are great for outdoor activities such as swimming, golfing and biking. But what is your comfort level in shorts or a bathing suit? Lately I've been reading more and more about the merits of counting calories. I tried it and am proud to say that I've lost 5 pounds in the last six weeks.

Not very surprising, but truly effective: Count Calories and Exercise More! I keep a daily written log of everything I eat (portion size and # of calories), my exercise (e.g., # of miles run or biked or walked daily), and my morning and bedtime weight. I use a smmll, low-tech spiral notebook that I carry symbolically over my heart in my coat pocket every day. I’ve lost 35+ pounds, lowered my blood pressure 30+ points, and kept it off for over a year now on this simple, no-pills-no-frills diet and exercise regimen. Try it! Good Luck! Guaranteed effective or double your excess weight back!!!!
