The rain and wind from Hurricane Isaac reminded us of the need to prepare for inclement weather conditions here in the Orlando area. As always, the National Weather Service is predicting an active Hurricane Season, here are a few pointers on preparing for a hurricane.
A helpful tool that has just been released for both IPhone and Android users is the Hurricane app from the American Red Cross. The app can be set up to post alerts for active storms, monitor hurricane activity and provide resources, local news and shelter locations if the need arises.
