Hoooowl for the Arts
The Seminole Cultural Arts Council is pleased to announce the Third Annual “Hoooowl for the Arts,” a fundraiser BBQ, to be held at the Seminole Harley Davidson—Buell dealership, in Sanford, on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 6:30-10:00pm. This well attended event features more than 25 uniquely designed masks, created especially for this fundraiser by local artists, such as Rae Marie and Cherie Dacko, and community leaders, including Seminole County Sheriff Don Eslinger, and Property Appraiser David Johnson. Guest auctioneer Seminole County Commissioner Michael McLean will lead the festivities, while the jazzy tunes of the popular band, “Then to Now” will be sure to keep attendees on their feet. Screamline Haunted Zipline Adventure
As part of it's annual Howling Halloween event, Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida is starting up the Screamline Haunted Zipline Adventure. It's the first haunted zipline around and will take guests flying through the darkness 55' off the ground at speeds up to 25mph, all amid a spooky tale of wild Florida's mysterious past. The screamline runs Oct 23, 24, 30 and 31, 2009 from 7pm to midnight at a cost of $60.
Velvet Sessions
Enjoy an after work cocktail party on the last Thursday of each month at the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando while listening to some of your favorite rock n' roll performers. The October session includes a Halloween theme and costume contest. October 29, 2009.
"Life After Death" Halloween Party
On Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. at the Backstage Lounge at Rosen Plaza: 9700 International Drive Orlando, FL.
