SAK Halloween Torture Show Returns!
It’s back! The infamous SAK Comedy Lab Halloween Torture Show returns for one performance, October 31, 2009 at 10 pm. The show features the clean, smart improv comedy that SAK is famous for, but this time with an evil twist: mouse traps, blindfolds, clothes pins, marshmallow torture and more. It’s all done in the name of fun … for the audience. For the SAK improvisers, it’s TORTURE! .

Trick or Treat Safe Zone
A safe, fun Halloween adventure at the Orange County History Center - with three floors of trick or treating, creepy crafts, and a not-so-scary haunted maze. Children 12 and under welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Free admission.

American Ghost Tours!
On Saturday October 10th partake in a class in paranormal investigation that will be held in Orlando at the Orange County Regional History Center at 7:00pm.  This class will focus on all areas of ghost hunting, including equipment, what constitutes a haunt, proper investigative procedure, psychic abilities, spirit photography, and EVP or electronic voice phenomena.  Portions of the class will be interactive so you will get the opportunity to put your new education in parapsychology to use right away.

Fantasy of Flight's "Haunted Hangar" Walking Tour
October 1 - 31, 2009, one show daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Throughout the month of October, visitors to Central Florida's premier aviation-themed attraction, can take a spine-tingling walk through the spooky side of Fantasy of Flight. This new creepy tour unravels eerie stories of aviation lore—mysteries from the famous Lost Squadron to Lindbergh’s spectral companions… all guaranteed to add a supernatural gleam to the World’s Greatest Aircraft Collection. Free with Fantasy of Flight General Admission. Visitors who bring non-perishable food items that will benefit the Agape Food Bank in Lakeland and The Mission in Winter Haven receive $8 off full-priced admission for each donation. Ghost Stories - Harry P. Leu Gardens
Friday, October 16, 2009 from 7:30 - 9:300pm.
Enjoy being frightened by the Central Florida Storytellers in a dark haunted garden. You never know who is lurking in the woods. Bring a blanket and chairs for this family fun, outdoor event. Adults $10, children $5.

Haunted Eves at the Pioneer Village - Kissimmee
A spooky night at the Osceola County Historical Society on select Saturday evenings in October. Fun-filled tour of the "Spirits of Osceola". Explore the recently-excavated tombs of historical county characters, sneak into the darkened, haunted Museum and watch out for the souls that lurk on the grounds. Call 407-396-8644 for more information. Admission is $10 adults, $5 children under 15.

Scott's Corn Maze - Mount Dora
Each year a different themed adventure is crafted from the cornstalks - open from the beginning of October through the end of November. Admission charge.
