In addition to the shows that are featured throughout the park, the main performance, "The Mysterious Kingdom of the Orient" can be seen at 6:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday. (Please call first to verify show times.)
This 90 minute presentation is housed in the comfortable, 750 seat, Golden Peacock Theater, which is located at the entrance to the park. Anywhere between 50 to 60 performers can be involved in this grand production on a given evening. This collection of dancers, acrobats, and musicians from China perform at Splendid China on a 6 month rotation.
Tickets may be purchased separately for dinner and the 6:00 pm showing of "The Mysterious Kingdom of the Orient".
The stories unfold through martial arts demonstrations, ballet and dance. Exquisite costumes, majestic colors, amazing acrobatics and authentic music have all the makings of traditional Chinese Theater.
Entrance to the show is included in the general admission price, which also includes a complimentary dinner at the Seven Flavors Cafeteria. Dinner is served Tuesday through Sunday from 4:30 pm or 7:30 pm.
