Disney's Pop Century Resort -- The newest value category resort will take guests of all ages down memory lane as the 5,760-room resort highlights the toys, fads, technology breakthroughs, dance crazes and catch phrases that defined each decade of the 20th century. Larger-than-life pop icons like the Big Wheel, Play-Doh®, Rubik's Cube®, Duncan Yo-Yo, bowling pins, a laptop computer, cellular phones and more will tower near lodge buildings and form shapes for giant feature pool areas. The resort is located adjacent to Disney's Wide World of Sports complex near Victory Way. When complete, it will feature the "Legendary Years" of the 1900s-1940s and the "Classic Years" of the 1950s-1990s. The resort will open in phases beginning in 2002.
