NEVER AGAIN!|
Review I just read a review about the new "Figment" ride in Epcot and I couldn't believe how those opinions were exactly the same as mine. I just visited Disney World and I couldn't begin to describe how disappointed I was when I discovered they had killed Figment. It's like they ripped out a piece of my childhood right out of my heart. It's bad enough they killed Mr. Toad's wild ride but Figment too!!!? From the moment I stepped in the building I knew something was wrong. The little cars were red instead of purple and I didn't hear the imagination song. there was one small picture of figment that i noticed in the entire ride and in the gift shop after the ride there were shelves and shelves of figment merchandise. How can Disney sell Figment memorabilia if nobody knows who he is? Children won't have any clue who he is and won't want any figment stuff. I have no idea why Disney would change the ride, but I also thought it would at least be replaced by a semi-decent ride but nooooo, the new ride is terrible. Don't go on it, it was the worst ride I've ever been on in my life. There's an upside down toilet that drips on your head...wow, that's exciting. I put aside a couple of hours of my trip just to spend in the figment area. They killed the rainbow tunnel if any of you remember that. Also, no more dark rooms with the colors that you step on, no more coloring figment, everything is gone. All I know is that it is now a big room for making pictures that I could make on my computer myself. It's a complete rip off and completely to make money. There is nothing fun in there and I spent less than 5 minutes in there it was so horrible. I can't believe Disney would do this, I'm very upset and I will never go in that building again. I have the imagination song and all my figment memorabilia and I guess that is what I'll have to remember him by. I've been to disney world 13 times out of the 18 years I've been alive and every time I look forward to Figment the most. I've always loved him. I don't know what else to say, there's nothing they can do to fix it, it is destroyed.
