For the ninth fun-filled year in a row, the streets of Universal Studios will be transformed into the world’s ultimate party location. The Mardi Gras 2004 Concert Series, along with a 10 block-long parade, featuring 14 ornately decorated floats, tons of beads, confetti and New Orleans style cuisine combine to transform the theme park into a mega Mardi Gras party. Numerous street performers and costumed characters, as well as stilt walkers towering high above the crowds will entertain partygoers during the celebration.

The Mardi Gras Party begins February 14 with the quirky, effervescent sounds of The B-52’s performing timeless favorites such as “Love Shack,” “Roam,” and “Deadbeat Club” and closes March 27, appropriately, with Disco Queen Donna Summer’s “Last Dance.”
