Meals on Wheels
Helping Seniors in Seminole County

Meals on Wheels is an important non-profit organization that has benefited many of the area's elderly and home-bound seniors since 1973. Monday through Friday, seniors and disabled individuals can receive a daily meal that is approved by a licensed nutritionist and prepared at their new facility in Sanford. In 2004, Seminole County Meals on Wheels provided meals for 129,824 individuals, daycare meals for 473 children and services for 2,595 clients.
