United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida
“Where Hope Begins and Miracles Happen for Children with All Disabilities”

United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida is the 7th largest non-profit agency in Central Florida, committed to helping children, birth to age 21, with all disabilities, achieve their fullest potential. Last year, UCP of Central Florida made a difference in the lives of 2300 children and their families.

Services they Provide:
The Pre-School/Kindergarten Charter School is an inclusive educational program for children with and without disabilities birth to age 6 years. The Transitional Learning Academy is a Middle School Charter School for children with disabilities grades 6-8.

The Therapy Program provides out-patient physical, speech and occupational therapy for children birth to age 21 years.

The Family Support and Counseling Program provide free counseling and support to children with disabilities and their families. Additional programs include Family Fun Nights, Sibling and Teen Support Groups and Information and Referral.

The Foster Care Program recruits, selects, trains and support foster parents for children with disabilities.

The Summer Recreation Program provides a camp program for children with disabilities age 8 – 21 years, and an Inclusive Drama Institute for Middle/High School students in partnership with Orlando UCF Shakespeare Festival.

Volunteer Opportunities:
In addition to donations, UCP of Central Florida has an on-going list of volunteer opportunities available including “Baby Huggers”, office and maintenance assistance, and Special Event volunteers.
