Before you head out for the day, fishing pole and tackle box in hand, remember that a Florida fishing license is required. With a major credit card, the Florida Fish and Conservation Commission will enable you to purchase a license by;

• phone at 1-888-FISH-FLORIDA (347-4356)
• or directly over the Internet

In either case, you will be issued a temporary license number for immediate use, and your permanent license will be mailed to you within 48 hours.

• Bag and Length limitations for some of Florida's lakes and rivers.
• Boating Regulations for the state.
