Family Photographs
There is usually one family member that has ended up with that cherished photo when grandpa was a quarterback or the old black and white wedding photo of the great-grandparents. If you are the holder of prized family photos, this year surprise the relatives with their very own copy. Long gone are the days when old photos had to be taken to a professional, sent out for a negative, and after much time and money your copies were made. Now, with the widespread use of photo processing machines that can be found in stores like Target, Walgreens, K-Mart and even Albertsons, copying a favorite photo can take less than fifteen minutes, and depending on the size, can cost less that $10.00. Most stores have someone that can help you out, and keep in mind that old photos that were done in brown tones instead of pure black and white will be considered a color photo by these machines. Since the machines tend to break down quite a bit, always call the store first to make sure that they have machine and it is up and running. To complete the gift, put it in a unique frame, something that either matches the decor of the recipient or the character of the photo.
