Apollo Beach is part of the national seashore and the wildlife refuge area
that is located midway on Florida's east coast between Daytona Beach and
Melbourne. Located at the north end of the Canaveral National Seashore, this
Volusia County beach does contain areas that are clothing optional.
Directions to Apollo Beach from Orlando:
Two routes are available, depending on your location in the Orlando area.
I-4 East to SR 44 which is Exit 118 A. From that point you will travel east for
around 19.4 miles when SR 44 becomes SR A1A. You will continue on A1A for
approximately 10 miles, heading south.
I-95 North to SR 44 then east (continuing to follow the directions above.)
