SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA :
The City of Winter Springs, started by a wealthy New York merchant, was incorporated in 1959. Of all the Seminole County cities, Winter Springs is the largest in area.
LIVING IN WINTER SPRINGS :
Winter Springs is comprised of many neighborhoods and communities. One of the largest and most recognized is the community of Tuscawilla, which began construction in the 1970's. The community has over 3500 acres of parks and trails.
LOCATION & DIRECTIONS :
The City of Winter Springs is located east of Hwy. 17-92. This portion of S.R. 434, just east of Longwood, and continuing beyond the intersection of the Central Florida Greenway (417) encompass the major residential section of Winter Springs. The Greenway provides easy access into Lake Mary to the north and all of eastern Orange and Seminole Counties.
