Lake Nona

Located in the popular East Orange County corridor along the  SR 417 Greeneway, Lake Nona is a lovely 7,000+ acre master planned development. The centerpiece of this mixed-use community is the private, gated Lake Nona Golf and Country Club with a championship golf course designed by world famous Tom Fazio.

More than 40 percent of the land in the community is being preserved as parks (including a dog park), lakes, and open spaces which include a 44-mile paved and unpaved trail system for residents to enjoy. Among Lake Nona's recreational facilities are an aquatic center, an equestrian center, a community YMCA and a neighborhood fitness center. Once the community is completed, residents will enjoy these amenities along with diverse workspaces, many residential options and an abundance of retail and entertainment options.

Six hundred acres is currently under development as the new Lake Nona Science and Technology Park. New educational and scientific facilities in the park will include the UCF College of Medicine and Healthcare Campus, Burnham Institute for Medical Research East Coast Campus,
a University of Florida Research Center, Orlando VA Medical Center and the Nemours Children's Hospital and Research Campus. This new park will provide many well-paid jobs for nearby residents.

Located within the city limits of Orlando, the Lake Nona community is only 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport, 20 minutes from downtown Orlando, and 40 minutes from Atlantic Ocean beaches.
