Rollins College, the oldest recognized college in Florida, is home to a college experience that provides opportunities to not only learn, but to apply that knowledge and related skills in a real-world setting.

The community colleges in the Orlando area offer a large selection of certification programs and/or associate degrees in areas including agriculture, business. education, finance, health science, hospitality, marketing, public safety, engineering and information technology.

The long history of Bethune-Cookman University began in 1904 when Mary McLeod Bethune opened the Daytona Educational and Industrial Training School for Negro Girls.

Offering associate, bachelor's, or master's degree programs within five colleges - the College of Business & Management, College of Engineering & Information Sciences, College of Health Sciences, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, and College of Media Arts & Technology. Courses may be taken onsite, online or a mix of both.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is the only accredited, aviation-oriented university in the world. This independent, nonsectarian, coeducational university serves a diverse student body seeking careers in aviation, aerospace, business, engineering, and related fields.

Winter Park University offers degrees in a variety fields including film, music and animation. Full Sail is also host to the annual Otronicon event held at the Orlando Science Center in Orlando.

Herzing is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and specialties like medical assisting, dental assisting, medical billing, nursing and legal assisting are accredited by their respective professional associations.

Offering Associate Degrees in computer technology, business, criminal justice, and medical fields such as massage therapy, nursing, and radiologic technology. Among the Bachelor's degrees offerings are criminal justice, business administration, health science, homeland security and legal studies.

Stetson University is accredited to offer Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Students are encouraged to enter college with open minds and are given a wide range of majors, minors and special programs from which to choose.

Programs of study include A.S. Degree, Credit Certificate, Occupational Certificate Programs, and Associate in Arts Degree.
