Keiser University

By , About.com Guide

BACKGROUND:

Keiser University was established to fill a need for hands-on career education in small classes. Flexible scheduling offers students the option of taking daytime, evening or online classes. Students attend one class at a time for four weeks and take a final exam before moving on to the next class, thus alleviating the pressure of juggling several classes and multiple assignments and exams. The university is accredited to award certificates, associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

PROGRAMS:

The Orlando campus offers Associate Degrees in computer technology, business, criminal justice, and medical fields such as massage therapy, nursing, and radiologic technology. Among the Bachelor's degrees offerings are criminal justice, business administration, health science, homeland security and legal studies. An MBA with concentrations in leadership, international business and marketing is also offered.
