Located on the corner of Park and New England avenues, Luma's neon blue sign beckons. Just as the warm comfortable textures and subdued lighting welcome you, it's the contrasting crystal box, the illuminated two-story wine cellar separating the bar from the restaurant that demands your attention. Soft blue light radiates from the transparent walls, highlighting the rows of almost 7000 bottles of wine displayed inside. A closer look reveals the center staircase, leading to a private dining area on the lower level which includes state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment for social and business gatherings.
Eighty different wines are offered on their innovative four tier wine list. Ten reds and ten whites on each tier can be purchased by the bottle, glass or half glass. Bottle prices start at $20 on the first tier with $10 increments as you advance.
Original American cuisine is featured on the menu and is prepared to accommodate those looking for everything from a 'light bite' to a full three-course dinner. Like most popular restaurants, reservations are recommended.
Comfort is the main theme here from large soft leather chairs in the bar to the oversized booths in the dining area. A private chef's table is available in the back of the restaurant, along with a private seating area.
Since parking along Park Avenue is generally at a premium, Luma offers complementary valet service for your convenience.
