Central Florida has many locations where free entertainment is the name of the game. Free concerts, movies and outdoor entertainment (many family friendly) can be found throughout the region.
1. Uptown Altamonte
Free live concerts, movies, performances and open Mic nights make the Eddie Rose Amphitheater and Cranes Roost Plaza popular destination points. Located in Uptown Altamonte in Cranes Roost Park on the scenic waterfront of Cranes Roost Lake, the plaza features a twice nightly (except Tuesday) choreographed fountain show and the Eddie Rose Amphitheater with stadium-style seating and a one-of-kind floating stage is home to an ever-changing schedule of family friendly events. 2. Old Town Kissimmee
Like to sing along with the oldies? Live bands give free concerts on the Main Stage at Old Town every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night.Do classic and antique cars bring back pleasant memories? Check out the Saturday Night Cruise when cars from 1974 and earlier, parade down the brick streets of Old Town. The Friday Night Cruise welcomes custom and special interest vehicles in addition to 1975-1987 cars and trucks. Thursday is Bike Night, when bikers head to Old Town with their Hogs and Choppers around 6 p.m. Many special events like The Cornhole Shootout Competition, Latin Sundays and VETTE FEST IV are held throughout the year.
3. Orlando Brewing
In addition to free tours, Florida's only certified organic brewery, Orlando Brewing offers free live entertainment on most Friday and Saturday evenings. Local bands take the stage starting at 9pm. Check the calendar for upcoming performances.
