At check-in, each child receives a goodie bag including a coloring book and other treats including a bottomless drink cup. The cup is good for refillable drinks at any restaurant in the resort. To be eligible to obtain the goodie bag, children must be on the room reservation.
Another perk for kids, ask about the Child Back Pack From the concierge desk, parents can check out a standard childs back pack, even on wheels, jammed with all kinds of items for kids of various ages. Items in the back pack include video games for use in the room, books to reads, card games, electronic games such as Etch a Sketch and other items to keep your young ones entertained. The items and the backpack are returned at the end of your stay, but it goes along way to help keep everyone satisfied and occupied.
There is even on-site day care at Camp Omni if mom and dad want a little alone time. Camp Omni is a 2,000 square foot La Petite Academy facility for children 3-12 years of age; day rates and hourly rates are available.
Pools
If golf is king, water and pools are queen, and water loses out by only the smallest margin. There are a total of two pools, two hot tubs, slide, the Lazy River and the interactive water area. By some estimates, there are over 1 millions gallons of water to keep you cool when the Florida sun gets hot!
Quiet Pool A pool designed for adults, and although children are not prohibited, the name says it all. The luxurious cabanas and one of two hot tubs surround the Quiet Pool making for a very relaxing day.
Zero Entry Pool - A favorite with children because it resembles a beach, zero entry pools have an entry with no lip or curb so toddlers can walk in without tripping over a step and persons with mobility problems can enter very easily. The Omni Orlando Resort's zero entry pool, with Crocs restaurant overlooking it, is large and impressive. The pool also features a large kids slide and nearby interactive water area that are sure to be popular with children.
Restaurants & Spa
The resorts signature restaurant is Zen, an upscale pan-Asian cuisine and sushi bar. Trevis serves all three meals and Davids Club is a sports bar and grill overlooking the pool and golf course. Broadway Deli and Crocs serve sandwiches, snacks and refreshments.
As far as the spa, hot-stone massages are in at the 10,000 square foot full-service European-style spa center. The spa offers a complete assortment of treatments including facials, therapeutic massages, body treatments and waxing services.
