Its 1012 rooms are conveniently located within walking distance of Downtown Disney, including the Marketplace, which features 35 specialty shops and restaurants as well as Pleasure Island. Pleasure Island is where adults go to have fun at Disney after a long day at the theme parks. It is a series of themed night clubs.
Even if you are not a big shopper, it is a fun trip to make the short walk from the Wyndham Resort to the Disney Marketplace to window shop at the various Disney stores or to eat at or see the Rain Forest Cafi and other interesting sights.
At the Wyndham Palace, there is free transportation to all Disney theme parks or for a nominal fee, private shuttle buses can be arranged to take you to non-Disney parks and attractions throughout Orlando.
When you approach the Wyndham Palace it is not like approaching a hotel, but more like approaching a country club, with manicured grounds set over a number of acres. There is valet parking or complimentary self-parking is available.
Rooms are equipped with high speed internet access; cordless phones, WEB-TV (internet service), Sony PlayStations, mini-bars, a daily newspaper is provided and 24-hour room service is availabale. All of the rooms also have balconies, which for most rooms mean a great view of Downtown Disney looking toward EPCOT, and in the distance, the Magic Kingdom.

One of the most unique aspects of the resort was its Recreation Island. Accessible by a small bridge over a pond, the Island was the location of a pool, hot tub, playground and tennis court. All total there are three swimming pools, three complimentary lighted tennis courts and a sand volleyball court at the Wyndham Palace Resort.
There are nine on-site restaurants and lounges. Arthur's 27, located on the 27th floor and The Top of the Palace Lounge, also located on the 27th floor, are two of the finest. The Top of the Palace Lounge also provides a great view as well as a complimentary glass of champagne nightly at sunset.

A 10,000 square feet European style spa includes a full-service beauty salon, fitness center and private lap pool. Top of the line equipment is available including: treadmills, stairclimbers, free weights, stair steps, Reebok Sky Walkers and Life Fitness Strength Machines. Body treatments, facials, massages and various hydrotherapy treatments are all available to ensure a guest's visit is memorable.
