The colorful suites at the Portofino Bay are a departure from the ordinary hotel room. The suites are adorned with wall sized murals of Dr. Seuss and friends. They are a hit with families which means you must plan ahead if you are going to try and get one of these rooms.
The adult portion of the suite is equipped with a queen sized bed while the kids separate room includes two single beds.
Even the door dividing the room in the suite is unique. It is painted to resemble wood planks on a crate. As far as the furnishing in the suite, our suite included standard furniture and a yellow and green student work desk with orange new age chairs small sized especially for kids. To keep everyone entertained, there are flat screen televisions in both rooms.
Room rates vary greatly depending on the time of the year, but generally begin at $450 per night. For more information, visit www.universalorlando.com.
