The Orlando Science Center is located in picturesque Orlando Loch Haven Park. From I-4 take the Princeton Street exit #85.
Enter the glass menagerie, a menagerie of splendor and curiosity. Enlightening and dramatic entertainment begins by crossing the sky bridge to a world of wonder.
“Been There, Done That”? Think again when it comes to the Orlando Science Center. With a calendar full of surprises your adventure will never end.
Begin your visit by greeting the live turtles and alligators welcoming visitors in the beautiful glass atrium. Then, with 10 exhibit halls and 4 floors, find entertainment for the little ones as well as older “brainiacs”. The young will enjoy the hands-on exhibits in KidsTown, especially designed for small hands and curious minds. There is plenty to challenge all ages with high-tech activities and displays that will fascinate the mind.
The Orlando Science Center boasts the world’s largest 8 story giant movie screen, located in the Dr Phillips CineDome. This theater offers a unique visual delight with spectacular laser-light displays, planetarium shows and large-format films.
Topping the 4 story complex is the domed Crosby Observatory, home to Florida’s largest publicly accessible refractor telescope. This powerful 10’ lens allows visitors to view stars, planets, moons and other galaxies. “Star Light, Star Bright…I wish I may. I wish I might.” And you may on Friday and Saturday nights after 6pm.
