  • Easter Pysanky: Decorated Eggs of Europe
    Through April 12, 2009: Over one hundred traditional painted eggs and hand-painted modern European interpretations will be on display at the Lakeview Gallery.

BOK TOWER

  • Bok in Bloom!
    January through March: Seasonal blooms throughout the historic Bok gardens.

  • Moonlight Carillon Concert
    March 15, 2009: Starting at 7:30pm enjoy a concert that will feature a variety of music including selections from the Sound of Music.

LEU GARDENS

  • Annual Plant Sale
    March 21 - 22, 2009: Enjoy free admission to Leu Gardens during their annual Plant Sale from 9am - 5pm each day.

ORLANDO MUSEUM OF ART

  • Of Cloth & Culture: African Textiles
    Through December 2009: Exhibit features textiles from various regions of the African continent, including Kente cloth from West Africa, beaded aprons fron the Kirdi of Cameroon, and beaded animal skins of the San people of South Africa.

  • American Portraits & Landscapes
    Through December 2009: Features works by Benjamin West, Thomas Moran, Rembrandt Peale, John Henry Twachtman, and Carl Wuermer representing art from the Colonial period through the early 20th century.

  • 19th & Early 20th Century American Art
    Through December 2009: Drawn from the museum's permanent collection, the exhibition features paintings by George Inness, John Singer Sargent, Georgia O'Keeffe, William Harnett, Alfred Bricher, William Merritt Chase, Frank Weston Benson, and the museum's recent acquisition, The Sun Vow, 1901, a sculpture by Hermon A. MacNeil.

ORLANDO SCIENCE CENTER

  • Grossology
    Continuing TBD: Grossology explores why your body produces that mushy, oozy, crusty, scaly and smelly gunk in this traveling science exhibition that uses the power of live interactive video experiences to examine the "impolite" science of the human body.

  • Hatching the Past
    Continuing TBD: Take a rare and exciting look at the life of dinosaurs through their eggs, nests and embryos.

  • The Science of Milk
    Continuing TBD: Provides a behind-the-scenes look at how milk goes from the inside of a cow to the outside of your cookies.

  • H2Now: the Great Hydrogen X-Change
    Continuing TBD: Interactive exhibits that brings the science and technology behind this renewable energy source to visitors of all ages.

OTHER

  • Manatee at Blue Springs
    November through March: Manatee fleeing the cold ocean waters flock to the warmer temperatures of Blue Springs during the months of November thru March.
