Real Estate Update

September 2004

By Theresa Johnston, About.com

September 2004 monthly update on Real Estate trends and conditions in the Central Florida area. A seller's market still prevails in Orlando as inventory is lower than it has been for the last 12 months. Homes for sale are selling at an average of only 39 days on the market, down from an average of 60 days on the market just one year ago. While inventory is almost half of what it was a year ago, sales closed for August 2004 was higher than those in August of 2003.
