- The Easter Bunny will be hopping to most Orlando area malls this Easter Season. Check the schedules on-line to find out when the Easter Bunny will be at your favorite mall or shopping center. Some locations even have special evenings where your pet can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny.
PARK CELEBRATIONS AND EASTER EGG HUNTS
- City and Park celebrations are offering a variety of Easter and Springtime Events for children and families. Find a location that is close to you, Easter Egg hunts are generally held either 1 or 2 weekends before Easter.
SUNRISE SERVICES EASTER MORNING
- SeaWorld Orlando's Annual Easter Sunrise Service is held at the Bayside Stadium. The park opens at 6am and service begins at 7 am on Easter Sunday.
- Uptown Altamonte is once again presenting Rise Up Community Easter Celebration on from 9:30 am to 11:00. The service which will include a Continental breakfast is presented by First Baptist Church of Altamonte Springs. A special service for children will be held in the Eddie Rose Amphitheater.
- Bok Tower GardensAnnual Easter Sunrise Service at 7 am. Greet the dawn on this special day atop peninsular Florida's highest point while enjoying the music of a 60-bell Singing Tower carillon and the Lake Wales Chorale. Free admission from 6 - 8 am.
BUNNY BRUNCH
The Mall at Millenia invites you for a springtime treat at the Bunny Brunch on Saturday, March 21, 2009. Celebrate the arrival of the Bunny from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Orangerie Cafés with entertainment, food, and splendid spring décor. Enjoy a hoppin’ dance party hosted by D.J. Renee, butterfly stiltwalkers and a magician. Admission fee of $5 per person will be donated to Ronald McDonald House. Light brunch selections will be provided by mall restaurants.
The Bunny will be available for photos at his colorful tea party garden from March 21 through April 11 during mall hours. Children of all ages will have a chance to visit the bunny and receive a complimentary springtime gift.
GO TO THE ZOO
- At the Central Florida Zoo on April 11 & 12, 2009 from 9:00am to 3:00pm, enjoy a Hippity Hop Adventure along the adventure trail to find clues leading to the Easter Bunny. Win candy, prizes and surprises at Bunny Stops along the trail. Kids receive free bunny tails to wear. Enjoy free painting, crafts, magic and more. The event is free with a paid zoo admission. - On Easter weekend, April 10 - 12, 2009, admission will be free to the Morse Museum of Art.
- Free Admission to the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens on Good Friday, April 10, 2009. This is a wonderful opportunity to view the special exhibit, Decorated Eggs of Europe and America.
WORSHIP SERVICES ON GOOD FRIDAY

- Cathedral Church of St. Luke will be celebrating, Tenebrae for Good Friday starting at 7:30 pm. Cathedral Chamber Singers lead an austere Service of Darkness with traditional hymns, a cappella choral music from all eras, and the dramatic reading of Christ’s Passion.
