You will snorkel through one of the one of the largest collections of marine life imaginable at Discovery Cove's Coral Reef. At the Coral Reef, you can follow colorful schools of tropical fish and swim among hundreds of velvety, graceful rays - some as large as 6 to 8 feet in diameter. You can spend an unlimited time exploring the reef and the marine life within it.

Be Sure Not To Miss:

  • The Barracuda and Shark tanks while snorkeling.
Located within the lagoon are hidden underwater tanks with barracudas and sharks. The barracuda tank is located inside the shipwreck and the shark area is along the rocky coastline. By incorporating these fierce predators within the snorkeling area, swimmers are given the illusion of swimming side-by-side with these fierce predators.
Things to Know Before You Go:
  • Though there are plenty of life guards around, for those who are not comfortable in deep water, life jackets are available throughout the park.
