Horrible
- we arrived during the day and bought season passes. We went on the hulk ride and or stuff got stuck inthe locker and no one would help us until other could not get there stuff out. Finally after an hour a mgr helped and gave us express passes because it ate up time. We came back for HHN anrd all was ok until the end when we tried to use our express pass on the hulk ride. Some line attendant accused us of using fake passees and we explained and the were signed. but she tried to vtake them and pry them out of my boyfriends hand. we asked for securiety but when they came they wouldn't listen but kicked us off the ride. Not only that they wanted to escort us off the property because we were upset they did not listen. They asked for our names and took away our season passes and said we were not allowed back. The cops there said to call tomorrow and try to get our passes back. They said they cannot go against universal because it was private property. So we got on this van and....

Very Disappointing
- We've been to Halloween attractions around the country, and HHNXX was nothing compared to some events in Chicago and Detroit. Nevermind the long lines because they never end. The line just marches through the haunted house while people jump out and try to scare you, even though you watched them scare someone ten feet in front of you. Save your money and just enjoy the theme parks during the daytime.

Waste of Time and Money
- To make this short and sweet...all I can say is I was extremely disappointed! the HHN website was far more scary than the actual event itself. I spend the extra $ for the Express Pass and still waiting in a 45-60 minute line (and I went on a Wed early in Oct.) The scare zones were pitiful!! The actors wandered around in the crowds like the rest of us and spent very little time scaring anyone. I went with 5 other people and not one of us (and many others I heard while waiting in line) had one good thing to say about the whole event. I must admit the houses had great themes...unfortunately, they were no better than the scare zones. they had people jump out at you in the houses just as much as in the streets. With all the hype Universal put out with this being the best, I have been to other haunted houses and parks with scare zones that far exceeded this one. I am sure others liked this but with all the advertising, I expected much more than I got. Not scary at all!!! Never again!

Needs to move back to Islands
- Now I haven't gone this year, but seeing as the map is set up the same as last year, I have a feeling that I will feel the same as I did last year. I have gone to HHN since 2001. Having the event in Islands is better - it's a smaller park which limits the number of people that can be admitted each night and EVERYTHING was scary, except Suess Landing. The park is small enough that the scare zones blends into each other and there is no "empty space" like there is in the old park, which I believe is the main reason people don't feel scared enough. Plus almost all of Islands' rides are open b/c they did not have to use the ride areas for haunted houses. Hopefully Universal will get the message and move it back, but I doubt it.

hhh
- Dear sorin 305. I'm one of them hater's. You probably work for universal. I waited for 1 1/2 hours to get in, then all of haunted places had a two hour wait to get in. If your one of those who paid more than the 35 dollars to get closer to the front of the line, you should wear a I'm stupid hat on your head. There was 28 thousand people at the park the night i was there. It was insane to think they could entertain that many people. It was all about the money, and screw the people.

For all the Haters
- In case some of you have not noticed, Halloween Horror Nights is named the best Halloween event in the world for a reason. I have been there numerous times, and not ONCE have I been dissappointed. The houses are amazing, and the detail to surrounding environment is FANTASTIC. Howl-O-Scream is okay, dont get me wrong. But the true terror, and gravity of the environment REALLY digs into you here. Whoever had a bad experience here MUST have had something "off" at the event. I enjoyed all the houses and scarezones, but keep in mind, there is a variety of them. Some will not like the some of the houses, but love others. And the reason why they give an express pass is the same reason why you guys are all complaining. The lines are long becuase IT IS a good event. They are expensive because you are paying to skip Hundreds of people over, not two or three... So to conclude, HHN is the best Halloween them park I have been to, and do not miss out on such a fantastic event, and ignore the jabber.

Mrs.
- I was never so disappointed as when myself, daughter and two other friends went on a Thursdat night. WE had to park extremely far away and it took forever to get into the park. By the time we got into the park we were only able to do two activities because of standing in line so long. We waited over two and a half hours in line for the Chucky haunted house. We only got to do the Simpson's ride and then our time was up. What a disappointment, and never mind about the cost, which turned out to be outrageas for the amount of activities we got to do. I'd like my money back!

Do NOT waste your money
- We went to HHN when it was at Islands of Adventure and it was great, but this year at Universal Studios really disappointed. Only three rides were open. THREE. And there were up to 90 minute waits for the haunted houses and they weren't even scary. We went thinking there would be more rides and that would have meant shorter lines for the haunted houses. Also, the only time I was scared all night was when my sister grabbed my arm. Universal needs to quit being so CHEAP and open the rides!! We're never going back. Spread the word.

a total disappointment
- I went in 1997 when I was in high school and remembered it being the highlight of my trip. I was very excited to get to bring my family to it this year as we all very much enjoy Halloween, and scary movies. I was totally disappointed. We went on a Thursday and there were elbow to elbow people. most lines for the haunted houses were over an hour long, and not very scary once you got inside. Each one only took about 5 min to go through and they keep telling you to go through faster,so it is just one continuous line through. Most haunted houses I've been to in other places send a group in them wait a min or two then send another in, but I guess when you are trying to accommodate over a hundred thousand people it makes it hard to do. If being in a giant crowd of 12-18 year olds and waiting in giant lines is your idea of fun then you will love it. The fast pass would definitely help, but it's 3x the price of the fast pass you get during the day, and since the houses suck anyway DON'T BOTHER

avoid bill and ted show
- I went, and the show, "Bill and Ted" is one homophobic "gay people are so gay/feminine/repulsive/etc." so-called-joke after another. I was so offended that I heckled the stage until they threw me out. It was one anti-gay 'joke' after another, to the point that it was bizarre. Don't go. Or do go, and heckle them like I did. It was empowering.

Universal Halloween Horror Night - worst
- The worst I have ever attended. One line was 90 minute wait. Universal spent as little as possible on the event. After waiting in very long lines you got stobe lights, walked thru some gauze and had badly dressed costumed characters say boo .. do not waist your money on this. They were more interested in selling booze and express pass tickets than entertaining the crowd. Busch Gardens Hallow Scream last year was so much more surperior. I thought Universal would out do them .. what a let down ... seriously do not waist your money on this event. There was nothing scary about it. A local organization putting on a haunted house could have done better than the might and money of Universal Studios in Orlando. And on top of it all, most of the parks amusement rides were closed for the night. The best part was the extra 15 bucks paid to get into Islands of Adventure. Oh, and once inside a haunted house ... they rush you out. Five friends with me that felt the same way. So not just my opinion.

Even adults love it
- I first started going to HHN in the mid 1990's. It was fright at first sight! At that time IOA did not exist and the haunt was held in Universal Studios. It has quickly grown in size and fright factor. The haunted houses get better each year. I especially liked the Body Collectors. The demons in this house all looked alike. They appeared to be talk lanky bald undertaker-type monsters who enjoyed administering pain. My favorite scene in this maze was when I came around a corner and saw a girl lying face down on a table, screaming for help as the demon was ripping her spine out of her back. Way to go Universal!

loved it!
- Ok seriously if you havent been to halloween horror nights yet , there is something wrong with you. This is a MUST. It's something you deffinitely will never forget. My first time was last year and I was scared out of my mind , but I had so much fun. The haunted houses are a must. They are AMAZING. Some of the stuff seems so real, especially when youve had a few drinks.. hahaha. Anyways if you're gonna go, go with agroup of friends or your family, whatever. Either way you will have an amazing time - and go on all the rides, especially the hulk, dueling drgaons, and the mummy ahhh . dont forget spiderman :). BUY AN EXPRESS PASS. It is totally worth it you get to go on everything at least once GUARENTEED. Now go buy your tickets, and book a hotel room and get over to Universal Orlandos Halloween Horror Nights now!!!!

2006 Halloween Horror Nights
- What a disapointment. BOOOORING. They have halved the amount that was offered in previous years. People were leaving after two hours. There was nothing to do. The houses looked like they were put together by grade school kids. The show on the lake was nothing but clips of horror movies. People kept standing around after it ended waiting for a finale. The whole show was a movie trailer reel. The only ride open was the Mummy.
